The Kosovo Association of Information and Communication Technology (STIKK) once more enables the participation of Kosovo in the largest event of information and telecommunications technology, CeBIT 2012, which will be held in Hannover, Germany from March 6 to 10, 2012.

Software Freedom Kosova Conference 2011 is the third annual conference about Free/Libre and Open Source Software (FLOSS) to be held in Prishtina on November 12th. The Conference gathers professionals, academicians and enthusiasts who share the vision that software should be free and open for the community to develop and customize to its needs, including commercial ones, and that knowledge is a communal property and free and open to everyone.

31 Oct 2011- A round table was organized by STIKK at the “AFA” hotel on “Measures for improving IPR structure in Kosovo”. Mr. Bardh Shkreli, an IPR expert, presented the study initiated by STIKK, to the representatives of the Industrial Property Office of Kosovo, Copyright Office, Kosovo Customs and other business people of the IT sector. The study focuses on addressing recommendations for improving the IPR structure and ensuring a better climate for investments in different industries, especially the IT industry.

STIKK participates in the Webit Congress 2011 - One of the Europe's premier digital marketing and IT industry events with special focus on Central and Eastern Europe, covering markets with population of more than 450 million people. The Webit Congress 2011 organized in Sofia, Bulgaria OCTOBER 26-27, had more than 5000 visitors from over 40 countries, 7 parallel conference tracks with top world-class speakers from Facebook, Google, Yahoo, eBay, Paypal and many more.
